迪士尼《花木蘭》真人版電影由大陸女星劉亦菲主演，預計2020年3月27日在北美上映，電影從選角到開拍一直備受關注，前陣子剛公布首支預告片就引來廣大回響。導演妮基卡羅日前在接受訪問時，公開提到了劉亦菲是「最佳的花木蘭人選」，也講述了面試的過程。

妮基卡羅透露，在通知劉亦菲到洛杉磯試鏡時，對方馬上就從北京出發了，但因為兩地的時差，加上必須搭14小時的飛機，所以劉亦菲幾乎整晚都沒睡，此外，一開始以為面試在下午2點，所以早上可以稍微休息，殊不知因為製片方想要見她一面，所以劉就在完全沒有休息的狀態下，見到了導演，開始了長達兩個小時的試鏡。

妮基卡羅解釋，因為必須確認對方「是否為木蘭最佳人選」，所以請劉亦菲試演了5場戲，其中一場「還有長達5頁紙的對話」，而且使用非母語的英文，在試鏡結束後，導演接著讓劉去找體能教練，經歷了1個半小時的殘酷體能測試。

妮基卡羅回想當時試鏡時，對劉亦菲的感覺：「我之所以認為她是最佳的合適人選，不僅是因為她是個才華洋溢的演員，她同時也是個聰明、堅強、溫柔的人。」並稱贊對方相當敬業，從來沒有喊累，讓導演感性地說道：「我那天就知道，她是一名戰士，而在片場上，她就是我的戰場最佳夥伴。」給予了劉亦菲相當高的評價。

Oh.It's mostly in the mornning because it kind of noisy in HK.You know,around 3 million people there.So every time you have a picture.It is mostly say around 12a.m to 5a.m in the morning.

I see.You love that,don't u,and you went to college in United States.

Now you told earlier the day that Karate and Jiujitsu are not the most powerful or the best form of oriental fighting.What is the most powerful or best form.

Well,it's bad to say the best but in my opinion Kungfu is pretty good.

Would u tell a little bit about Kungfu?

Well,Kungfu is originated in China.It is the ancestor of Karate and Jiujitsu.It's more of a complete system and it's more fluent.By that I mean it's more flowing.There is continual movement intead of one movement,two movement then stop.

Would you look right in the camera and explain the pretty cool glass of water as it applies to Kungfu.

Well,Kungfu the best example would be a glass of water.Why?Becacuse water is the softest substance in the world.But yet,they can penetrate the hardiest rock or anything grand iron you name it.Water also is insubstantial，by that I mean you can not grasp or hold it.You can not punch it or hurt it.So every kungfu man is trying to do that.To be soft like water and flexible and adapt it to the opponent.

I see. What it the difference between kungfu punch and karate punch?

Well,the karate punch is like an iron bar."Wang!"（可能是象聲詞）.While kungfu punch is like an iron chain wooden iron ball attached to the end.It goes "wang" and it hurts inside.

Like points,the guy grappling your hand.It's not a good idea to do many steps. Step him by step.That is kungfu.This what we mean by simplicity. Same thing in strikes and in everything.It has to be based on very minimum motion so that everything will be directly expressed in one motion. Doing it gracefully but not to aaaaaah yelling and jumping all the way.

Well kungfu can be practised alone or with a partner. Practising alone involves form some imitate a crane, a monkey, a praying manner. This is a crane form, style of...This is one of the movement involved.
