一般来说，求职信是属于书信范畴，所以，格式应当符合书信的基本要求，主要包括称呼、正文、结尾、署名、日期、附录共六个方面的内容
1、称呼：求职信的称呼往往比一般书信的称呼正规一些，在实际书写时要区别对待，如果写给国家机关、事业单位的人事领导，则用“尊敬的**司长(处长、负责人等)”称号；如果对“三资”企业老板，则用“尊敬的**董事长(或总经理)先生”。但最好不要使用“敬启事”“**老前辈”等不正规的称呼。当然有些自由体的求职信，也可以不要称呼。
2、正文：这是求职信的中心部分，其形式多种多样，一般都要求说明求职信息来源、应聘岗位、本人基本情况、成绩、表现及社会工作情况等内容。
3、结尾：一般应写明：a、希望对方给予答复，并希望能有机会参加面试；b、写上简短的表示敬意、祝愿之类的祝词。
4、署名：应注意与信首的“称呼”相对应。在国外一般都在署名前，加上一些“你诚挚的**”、你信赖的**、您忠实的**“之类的形容词，也可以什么也不写，直接签上自己的名字。
5、日期：一般写在署名右下方，最好用阿拉伯数字写，并把年、月、日全写上。
6、附录：求职信一般都要求同时寄一些有效证件，如学历证件、学位证书、获奖证书、荣誉证书等复印件以及简历、近期照片等。因此，你最好在正文左下方――注明：这样做，一是方便招聘单位审核；二是给对方留下一个“有条不紊、很负责任、办事周到”的好印象。
(二)主要内容：

4、表示希望得到答复面试的机会。在信的结尾，最好表示出希望对方给予一次面试的机会，表明自己希望早日成为其中一员的热切心情，并认真地写明自己的详细联系方式。
(三)注意事项：
1、实事求是，恰如其分地介绍自己的能力和特长，既不吹嘘了不贬低。
2、重点突出，有条理、有针对性，篇幅以1-2页、1000字左右为好。
3、文笔要流畅，表达要准确，如果你写得一手好字，就要认真地写，并在署名后注明“亲笔敬上”等字样。
4、精心选择照片，以便招聘单位目测。无论是免冠半身照，还是全照，都要近期的，图像清晰、柔美、不失真。
5、学会用多种文字书写求职信。比如中、英文对照，既表明你的外语能力，又表示你对招聘单位的尊重。
(四)失败的求职信有以下几种：
1、给对方规定义务的求职信，必定要失败。如“本谨以最诚挚的心情，应聘贵公司的会计一职，希望得到贵公司的尊重、考虑和录用”。这种写法，事实上是在强迫对方，因为这句话实际含义是：“你如果不录用我，就是对我不信任，所以，你必须录用我，才能体现你的求职简历范文信任。”
2、用以上压下的口气写的求职信，必定要失败。比如求职信格式范文“贵公司的**总经理先生要我直接写信给您”；或者“**部长很关心我的求职问题，特让我写信给您，请多关照”。这种求职信，让收信人看后很反感。因为他认为“既然总经理(或部长)都有意了，你还写信给我干什么，真是多此一举。
3、“吊起来卖”式的求职信，必定要失败。如“现已有多家公司欲聘我了，请贵公司从速答复。”这样往往会激怒对方，导致求职失败。
避免以上现象发生的办法，一是要谦虚谨慎，实事求是；二是要态度诚恳，语气谦和；三是要把自己放在一个正确位置上。
现在许多单位都希望应聘者有比较扎实的英文基础，特别是外企和涉外交往比较多的单位，一份漂亮的英文简历会帮助你给用人单位留下很好的印象。刚刚走出校园的学生由于工作经验很少，写不出太多的东西，想把你的英文简历写得更丰满吗？我在这里给大家介绍一些特别的技巧。
1、教育背景中写相关课程。但千万不要为了拼凑篇幅，把所有的课程一股脑儿地都写上，如体育等。这样不很有效，别人也没耐心看。
2、奖学金一项一行。许多学生每年都有奖学金，这样一来，也可写出三四行，甚至更多。

英文简历中败笔：
